Goji berries also known as wolfberries are dried red berries that have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for more than 2,000 years. These superfood berries contain 11 essential amino acids (more than other common berries). They are an excellent source of antioxidants which helps delaying the aging process in cells. They have also been linked to improved energy and feelings of overall well-being. Because they are low-GI and high in fiber, they assist with weight loss. Definitely one of my favorite superfoods!



  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 frozen banana 
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ½ cup plain yogurt 
  • 2 tablespoons goji berries
  • +- 10 almonds
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup water
